Job Overview
The Supervisor, Technical Services reports to the Territory Manager and is responsible for leading, developing, and managing all aspects and employees for the assigned Local Operations Center (LOC). The Supervisor, Technical Services is responsible for developing a work team that will perform the highest quality mechanical and installation service possible, while also managing costs. The position is responsible for delivering and maintaining accountability of all assets and parts assigned to the Local Operations Center (LOC), and working with sales and customers to resolve any technical service issues. This position develops a team that can create a competitive advantage in the marketplace for the Company. The Supervisor, Technical Services may also work independently TM in a separate Local Operation Center (LOC).
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manages, leads, and motivates a team to deliver results by communicating company goals that are including but not limited to providing the highest quality mechanical and installation service, while also managing costs, safety practices, and deadlines; engaging and developing teammates through effective performance management, coaching, and training; implementing continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus; and embodying company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership.
- Maintains accountability for all assets and parts assigned to the Local Operations Center (LOC) as well as ensures the Local Operations Center (LOC) is well organized, clean, and a safe working environment for the Equipment Services (EQS) team.
- Provides great customer service and communication to Coca-Cola Consolidated (CCC), Coca-Cola North America (CCNA), and Equipment Reutilization Solutions (ERS) internal and external customers with the ability to sell revenue-generating service through the Coca-Cola Consolidated Equipment Reutilization Solutions (CCC ERS) proposition.
- Drives safely following all motor vehicle laws without distraction and maintain a safe working environment by completing all assigned safety training activities and adhering to all safety policies and procedures, including but not limited to conducting Department of Transportation (DOT) daily pre-trip and daily post-trip inspections of vehicle, if required.
- Ensures metrics and Key Business Indicators (KBIs) (including but not limited to profit and loss measures.
- Customer Service Satisfaction metrics-completion times for local and CCNA customers
- Parts Management- inventory accountability on counts and settings and minimum and maximum levels, and the total number of call responses per day are understood and creates action plans for continuous improvement.
- Maintains responsibility for the successful execution of the Right Execution Daily (RED) by spending 50% of the time in the field supporting their direct reports.
- Completes and facilitates all required training and maintains updates and documents related to all equipment.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Computer experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office is a necessity.
- SAP knowledge preferred.
- Excellent customer service experience preferred.
- Understanding of operations is beneficial but not required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or up to 3 years of college or technical school
- Knowledge acquired through 1 to up to 3 years of work experience
- Valid driver’s license
