Job Description
The Account Manager serves as the primary contact between Coke Northeast management and store owners. In this role, the Account Manager is responsible for building customer relationships while increasing business by selling and ordering products for a defined customer base within an assigned territory.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Educate and excite customers about our leading portfolio of beverages
- Analyze customer needs and business trends to help grow both their profitability and our own business
- Ensure brands and packages sold align with an account’s consumer demographics
- Sell incremental displays, equipment placements and promotional programs
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels, company assets, promotional ad signage (point of sale) and displays
- Ensure each account meets defined merchandising standards, determine stores’ product needs and transmit appropriate replenishment orders
- Communicate and collaborate account activities to appropriate business partners
- Utilize sales force automation tools
- Work with customers to resolve A/R issues
- Regular lifting of up to 40 pounds, bending, reaching, kneeling and merchandising
Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1 years of general work experience required
- 1 years of relevant sales experience preferred
- Must have the ability to regularly lift, push and pull up to 40 pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach
- Must have the ability to occasionally lift, push and pull up to 55 pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
- Excellent planning and organization skills
- Proficient computer application skills
- Valid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines
