As a Warehouse Utility Associate, you will be responsible to meet established departmental and company objectives. Receive, store and distribute raw materials, packaging supplies and finished goods common to the beverage manufacturing process. Adhere to all Coca-Cola policies /procedure.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift, Loading and unloading trailers,
- Staging and distributing materials
- Perform cycle counting raw and finished materials tasks
- Data entry into the current digital inventory system
- Maintaining Good Manufacturing Principles (GMP)
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Work assigned shifts, as determined by business needs, in accordance with
work-week schedules that include a combination of 4, 8, 10, and 12-hour increments. Support safety and quality initiatives.
Additional Duties
- Determine/control the flow and initiate requisition for materials, supplies, equipment, and tools needed by the team.
- Manage daily truck transports between plants for all inventory and non-inventory items.
- Manage truck shipments as required.
- Initiate shipping claims as appropriate for damaged or lost parts. Analyze and determine all standards for packaging lines and ensure compliance to all schedules for processes and develop and maintain all packing orders effectively.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and in extreme temperature conditions for long periods of time.
- Requires manual moving of materials weighing 50 pounds distances of 10 feet or more.
- Skill to use a forklift to move loads weighing 2500 pounds from heights of 304 inches to various locations throughout the facility and onto trailers.
- Requires basic math skills. Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
- Ability to understand, record, and communicate product codes and descriptions. Maintain a good attendance record.
- Know and follow all company prescribed GMP, safety, attendance and rules of conduct guidelines.
Required Education/Skills
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
- Possess a Valid Forklift Driver’s License.
Job Location and Work Conditions
Work is performed on the shipping and receiving dock and throughout multiple warehouse locations and in a multi-level production facility. Work requires exposure to temperature extremes, high noise levels, wetness, heights, fumes, dust, vibrations, etc.
Equipment
Forklift, computer, specialized software, scales, hand tools, hand trucks, hoses, cleaning chemicals, and any equipment as may be identified as required for the position.
