What are we looking for?
We are looking for Robotics Instructors (VEX, LEGO, and/or OLLO)to join our team of dynamic, energetic, forward-thinking minds, working toward our common goal: providing a fun and safe learning environment for children.
Our instructors are the lifeblood of our Code Ninjas center. This individual is reponsible for instruction and student engagement. Are you experienced in working with children? Do you enjoy teaching and building problem solving skills in young engineering minds? Have you mentored youth? This could be the role for you.
Do you have experience with VEX, LEGO, or OLLO robots?
Responsibilities include:
- Create a positive and safe environment in which students can grow
- Work with children to determine skill sets
- Provide feedback to parents after working with student who is on a tour
Qualifications:
- College students or graduates (any STEM major or has STEM experience)
- Works well with others; collaborates. Brings enthusiasm and enjoys working with kids
- Knowledgeable about robotics and technology; or sharp enough to quickly pick up the basic concepts
- Must be fun to work with and like working in fast paced environments where requirements can change frequently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Work history with kids 7 and up (babysitting, mentoring, coaching, tutoring etc.)
- Robotics Experience (VEX, LEGO, and/or OLLO)
- Experience in teaching, mentoring and/or child care
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Masks, temperature checks, & social distancing are required. On a daily basis, we disinfect our laptops, keyboards, mice, and all door handles. The bathrooms undergo a major cleaning two days a week and a minor cleaning four days a week.

- Irvine, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
