Director of Program Management

The Director, Program Management will drive best-in class planning processes, tools and behaviors for Codex DNA’s New Product Launches. This role will report to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). A successful candidate will have an enthusiastic entrepreneurial work ethic. This person will collaborate closely with all functions in the organization but especially with, Operations, Marketing, Sales, and executive leadership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead planning, tracking and driving timely execution of new product launches for Codex DNA
• Act as primary liaison/interface between all functions responsible for new product launches
• Coordinate collection of product requirements from internal sources and external partners, translates into specific goals, and ensures the delivered products will meet the expectations of customers, stakeholders, and external collaborators
• Facilitate project team meetings and develop and manage the execution of high quality, integrated cross-functional project plans
• Keep key stakeholders informed of program status on a frequent and ongoing basis
• Ensure timely communication of changes or updates on timelines and deliverables
• Apply decision analysis tools to analyze complex situations and recommend defensible actions and solutions.
• All other duties as assigned or necessary

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years’ experience in biotechnology industry, start-up experience a must.
• 10-15 years Project Management experience
• Proven experience in managing product development and commercialization projects in a life sciences environment
• Ability to think strategically and translate strategic guidance into effective tactical programs across a variety of audiences and channels
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a significant roster of projects/ programs and deliver on timing expectations
• Proven ability to objectively evaluate program results
• Demonstrated experience in program management ether in commercial or product development organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams.
• Superior analytical skills and strategic thinking mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of management and to influence change
• Thrive in a start-up, rapidly growing company environment

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in molecular biology or related field
• Advanced Graduate Degree preferred
• Program Management Certification preferred

Pay: From $145,000.00 per year
