THE ROLE
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Regional Data Manager to join our team. In this exciting role, you will play a crucial part in identifying, analyzing and presenting solutions to execute our Data Strategy.
- Develops and implement data management strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Collaborates with business teams to understand their data needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Identifies opportunities for process improvements and data intelligence with a focus on business competitiveness and sustainability.
- Analyzes data trends to proactively identify potential opportunities to meet business needs across the region.
- Supervises the collection, storage, processing and analysis of data, ensuring quality and integrity.
- Manages and improve existing information providers, ensuring their reliability, performance, and security.
- Identifies opportunities for improvement in processes and implement innovative solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyzes and interprets data to extract valuable insights and present them clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
- Develops and leads the execution of end-to-end regional data projects.
- Data Quality - Uses data platform and cloud capabilities to implement data quality measures and ongoing processes to track quality across the data touch points.
- Creates and monitors data related tickets with Group and other internal stakeholders.
- Data onboarding - Works with Group to develop and document data schemas, data lineage and metadata dictionaries.
- Data Governance – Works with the Group and Compliance teams to ensure all regulatory and customer specific agreements are compliant.
- Supports the data asset access management process.
- Regularly reviews data usage and works with the Compliance team to resolve conflicts to regulatory, master agreements, or other violations which would inhibit the data being used in the future.
THE CANDIDATE
Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 10 years in Data Strategy, Data Management, or data insights-based positions, with a strong understanding of Commercial Data.
- Proven track record in involvement in data products and data-related service strategy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong proficiency in data cleansing and data preparation techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Solution-oriented mindset, driven to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Ability to demonstrate and think strategically about business, products and contribute to solving technical challenges.
