Overview
- The Digital Designer is responsible for the development, design and production development of creative deliverables for a Biolage's digital initiatives on the side.
- You will drive conceptualization and production of digital brand assets and marketing programs.
- You will becoming fluent in Biolage brand guidelines and will create design support that reflects the brand aesthetic.
- This position offers an opportunity for contractors to work five hours per day, five days a week, providing flexibility and consistent hours.
- Provide creative and design support for a wide range of digital projects including but not limited to Digital Marketing (emails, display banners ads), social media assets, GIFs.
- Design and manage artwork updates across Biolage.com including product hero shot, category and promo images.
- Work on digital asset production from start to completion, incorporating concept, timelines scope, designs and finished products in appropriate format.
- Partner to advance the digital channel, monitoring industry trends and maintaining knowledge of emerging technologies and creative techniques.
- Light-color retouch and image resizing on visual assets once become available from photographers
- Experience driving digital creative strategies and execution, ensuring consistent application of brand standards for all digital assets.
- Hands-on knowledge of digital production project plans and timelines, and ability to manage creative product process, including management of agencies and vendors.
- Collaborate and stay aligned with offline creative on integrated campaigns.
- Strong coordination with internal Brand Creative and Digital Marketing teams is a must!
- Strong experience with video and sound editing for multiple platforms across social digital.
- Expert understanding of trending formats schemes, with the ability to arrange short video clips into a cohesive story.
- Self-starter with 5-10 years of experience in digital design with eCommerce design experience a must (mobile desktop). Strong solid portfolio.
- Prior in-house design experience with prestige beauty background (on brand or agency)
- Understanding of user experience methodologies and practices.
- Ability to prioritize and work quickly efficiently against tight deadlines
- Keen eye for clean design and executes tactical direction efficiently.
- Proficient in Adobe CS Suite (expert proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator, InDesign) and keynotes
- Positive attitude and solutions-oriented approach to daily challenges with strong cross-department communication skills
- Ability to work independently on assignments quickly with efficiency and organized
