Job Posting for Application Administrator at Cognitive Medical Systems
Team Cognitive is seeking an Application Admin to join our experienced team of application administrators supporting the VA Microsoft Identity Manager system. Supporting over 1.3 million VA identities, AD users, AD groups, and M365 Mailboxes.
Responsibilities Include:
Perform recurring system administration
Complete reactive and proactive level 3 support tasks on MIM environments, to assure system stability, reliable business processes, and positive end-user experience.
Modify MIM Sync custom attributes, objects, management agents, attribute sync flows, and troubleshoot issues associated with these items.
Create and modify MIM Service/Portal custom attributes, objects, sync rules, Management Policy Rules, sets, workflows, email templates, and troubleshoot issues associated with these items.
Troubleshoot MIM synchronization issues, identify root causes and recommend steps for resolution.
Develop and execute test plans to check systems technical performance.
Work tickets as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, and Clearance:
High school degree
2 years working on a Help Desk
Ability to obtain a VA Position of Public Trust – Medium Background Investigation (MBI)
Desired Skills:
Knowledge and recent experience with Security Authentication Tokens,
Experience with Windows 10, Windows 2019 Server,
Familiarity Microsoft Identity Manager,
Familiarity with Microsoft PowerShell
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL
Network Administration and/or Desktop support
Experience with ServiceNow is also a plus.
