Position Summary
We are looking for a Project Manager to manage IT and software development projects that support government programs and customers. The position will play an important role in customer relationship management, plan and designate resources, monitor budgets, status, and deliverables, keep stakeholders and internal management informed as well as provide oversight of the projects and internal teams supporting the programs. This role may manage more than one project at the same time.
Duties:
- Responsible for managing customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Responsible for managing the relationships with partner subcontractors to ensure successful integration between systems and products.
- Responsible for managing and escalating technical issues to ensure timely resolution
- Project schedule and deliverable management
- Responsible for administration of the client contract including working with the customer to collect and document requirements, working with the internal team to estimate the level of effort, and working with internal teams to establish pricing for new projects and contract
- Prepares detailed status reports and briefings on the status of programs and projects
- Provide management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership of the contractor staff execution.
- Provide day-to-day management guidance and direction to personnel in the execution of tasks
- Use proven project management and software development methodologies that assure that all contract-driven activities are identified, documented, and tracked so that the contract shall continuously be evaluated and monitored for timely and quality service
- Manage team assignments for program resources
- Perform quality assurance over the Project deliverables

Required Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree- 5 years experience managing mid-scale government projects including but not limited to managing teams and subcontractors
- 3 years Agile experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Proven client engagement skills
- Experience with federal government projects ( VA Preferred, DOD, and HHS Acceptable)
Preferred experience:
Master's Degree- Experience with financial software development and deployments
- Agile SAFe certification
