AWS Cloud Platform Engineer with Bedrock experience (remote)

Location: Anywhere in United State, remote

We are looking for AWS Cloud Platform Engineer with hands-on experience in AWS components including Transcribe, Bedrock, OpenSearch, Lambda, Lex, S3, Transfer Family and API Gateway, for an immediate need. This is a client-facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers.

Job Summary:

·       Experience in configuring AWS platform components including Transcribe, Bedrock, OpenSearch, Lambda, Lex, S3, Transfer Family and API Gateway

·       Experience in securing AWS platform infrastructure using IAM, KMS, WAF and secrets manager.

·       Experience in configure AWS VPC and network services including Route 53 

·       Prior experience in developing Cloud Formation / CDK Scripts for AWS Orchestration

•        Prior experience in architecting cloud first applications on AWS

•        Knowledge of integrating with AWS Bedrock and Vector DB functionality in OpenSearch strongly preferred

•        Ability to design high availability applications on AWS across availability zones and availability regions.

•        Ability to design applications on AWS taking advantage of disaster recovery design guidelines.

•        Prior experience in architecting a performance test strategy for applications on AWS.

•        Prior experience in leading a team that established Enterprise VPN and Amazon VPC integration with data center.

•        Knowledge of AWS (AWS certified architect preferred) stack and being comfortable in creating logical and physical architecture for AWS.

•        Must be able to create/document logical and physical architecture and highlight the security provisions.

•        Hands on experience in AWS provisioning

•        Knowledge of application deployment and data migration on AWS

•        Prior experience in automated build pipeline, continuous integration and continuous deployment

•        Knowledge of monitoring, logging and cost management tools that integrate with AWS.

•        Experience in healthcare enterprise transformation

•        Healthcare payer experience is a plus.

•        Experience in tackling healthcare security and privacy issues

Qualifications and Must Have Skills:

·       Overall experience – 12-16 Years in Cloud/Infra.

·       10 Years of relevant Hands-On Experience in AWS Services highlighted.

·       AWS design and Architecture, Enterprise N/W

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $[147,300.00 – 165,800.00] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
