About the role:
We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for implementing automation and collaboration practices and reliable software delivery to join our client located in Gdansk.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and troubleshoot Build and Release pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Perform Oracle Database Administration tasks and fine-tune queries as needed.
- Administer and troubleshoot Tomcat installations and upgrades.
- Monitor and patch RHEL systems, as well as perform Yum installations.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure the smooth functioning of various monitoring tools.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps, including Build and Release Configuration.
- Experience in Oracle Database Administration, preferably in a DBaaS environment.
- Familiarity with Linux Shell Scripting and ideally some knowledge of Python.
- Hands-on experience with Tomcat administration, with expertise in version 9.x.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like Tivoli, OEM, and Kibana Dashboards, as well as an understanding of IT Risk and Agile methodologies
