Diversity Talent Acquisition Sourcer
We are looking for a Diversity Talent Sourcer/Recruiter to join our HR team and manage the first stages of the recruiting process. Cognizant is committed to diversity and has put a focus on attracting qualified diverse applicants.
Responsibilities
Diversity Talent Sourcer responsibilities include using various channels to identify potential diverse candidates, contacting passive candidates and building talent pipelines for current hiring needs. Other responsibilities include designing, developing and implementing innovative outreach programs using diversity and inclusion best practices in support of Cognizant’s strategic initiatives. If you have solid sourcing skills, know how to utilize recruiter/sourcer tools and enjoy learning about different roles, we’d like to meet you.
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree in business, communications, human resources or related discipline and/or equivalent work
- Proactively identify and recruit passive job seekers, ensuring candidate pools are diverse.
- Interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Hiretual, Talenya)
- Craft and send recruiting emails to attract talent
- Coordinate with recruiters to determine position requirements
- Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g. Boolean search and market data)
- Identify candidates for current hiring needs
- Measure conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, get invited to interviews, get offers and get hired
- Maintain candidate databases (e.g. via our Applicant Tracking System)
- Qualify and Pre-screen candidates
- Follow consistent process and best practices for selecting highest quality candidates
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Create and maintain candidate pools of qualified candidates through frequent contact and notifications of positions
- In conjunction with Manager, track talent acquisition metrics and provide data and reports on a regular basis.
- Monitors and evaluate effectiveness of programs, makes adjustments as needed
