GIS Tester

Cognizant has immediate opening for a GIS Tester for QE&A Practice. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative environment. Someone that values the "team" and leverages the opinions and expertise of their teammates to deliver quality.

Location: Oakland, CA (onsite)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Good experience in GIS domain testing and automation testing
• Mandatory skills in GIS testing (any industry)
• Data Management
• Spatial referencing and Positioning
• Data display & maps
• Spatial Data Concept
• Good knowledge and working experience with Java and object oriented programming
• Good experience in selenium
• Good knowledge and working experience on Mobile Automation with Appium and TestNG framework for iOS native and web apps
• Good to have experience in Mobile Testing and Mobile Test Automation
• 3 years of experience in Agile development environment
• Hands on API testing and API test automation experience with Rest Assured
• Good concepts of continuous testing setup in DevOps
• Experience of source code management process using Git
• Proficient and having willingness to work in both manual and automation testing in parallel
• Good Business Professional and Communication Skills

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $74,930 - $92,700 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
