OpenText Manager
Cognizant is looking for a dynamic OpenText manager with experience crafting and developing sophisticated software systems and applications. The individual will work with product owners, domain experts, and product managers to craft and deliver customer value. The role is encouraged to lead several software engineers in the delivery of custom cloud native applications. The individual in this role will ensure that standard methodologies are followed, and that quality code is delivered. Lastly, Cognizant needs an individual that loves to collaborate with other technologists and enjoys mentoring and coaching.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Technical lead with 8 to 10 years of work experience in OpenText Content Server
- Background with good understanding in ECM concepts
- Experience in ECM product related upgrades
- Oracle Database knowledge from OTCS perspective
- Extensive hands-on experience in OpenText Content Suite (Livelink), Web Reports, Live Reports, Active Views, Workflows, O-Script
- Strong knowledge on Installation, Configuration, Administration and troubleshooting for OpenText Content Suite applications
- Strong knowledge on system maintenance patching/hotfixes/upgrades/updates and provisioning of servers, additional storage and scaling the systems as required
- Strong knowledge on installing, Configuring, Upgrading, downgrading OpenText Modules as required.
- Good Exposure to provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
- Good Exposure to requirement gathering, business-oriented discussions, planning, estimating project efforts
- Should have Created various Technical (SDLC) documentations (Regulated/Non-Regulated landscapes)
- Should have proven capabilities to handle Change Management Processes
- Should have Good Communication and Interpersonal skills combined with willingness to learn

This will be an on site position

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $52,000 to $131,600 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
