JOB DESCRIPTION
- We need a data analyst/business intelligence analyst to work with our Internal Audit department. We are open to go with an offshore resource. We can start with 6 months contract and potentially be extended as needed. The candidate will be fully supported by my team on the data architecture and we will provide mentoring from applications perspective. I hope your onsite team members also will provide mentoring support on the pension domain as needed.
- We prefer strong experience with data analytics visualizations and data extraction using ETL tools preferably using Tableau data flow and SSIS accessing DB2 and MS-SQL databases along with using Tableau desktop for visualizations.
- We also need the analyst to be strong in telling the story with the data using storyboarding techniques by analyzing the data from business point of view and answering questions related to trends patterns concerns etc.
- The analyst need to enable our Internal Auditors to make business decisions by understanding the business problem audit scope identifying the data domain to explore for analysis and delivering actional insights into the data by slicing and dicing the data using reports charts and visualizations that would answer business questions.
- We are also open to options in using software tools for data analysis. Besides Tableau used by our agency Internal Audit department have ACL Analytics platform for audit and governance with limited inhouse skillset in using the platform. We prefer to consolidate our tools for audit purposes from scalability and future maintenance perspective and looking for inputs from the analyst.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between ($100kp/a – $115kp/A) depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
