What are the responsibilities and job description for the Netcool Admin position at Cognizant?
- IBM Tivoli Netcool Omnibus ITNM TNPM & ITM
- IBM Netcool ITNM and TNPM Administration work.
- Excellent understanding of Netcool probes e.g. MTTrapd EIF Email Syslog & Message Bus.
- Adding/removing new network nodes in ITNM.
- Creating scheduled/custom/adhoc reports in IBM Netcool.
- Shell scripting knowledge and TCP/IP routing is needed.
- Good understanding of Netcool and ServiceNow integration.
- Upgrade knowledge on IBM Tivoli monitoring (ITM).
- Retiring/removing servers from monitoring.
- Adding server to monitoring.
- Able to troubleshoot day-to-day activities and work on incidents.
- Able to work and resolve the incidents/Task within SLA.
