Test Manager
Location- Remote Role
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent related work experience.
- 8-10 years of Test Manager experience
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the testing efforts for web applications, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Oversee the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Provide detailed test metrics and reporting to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Utilize testing tools and frameworks to automate and streamline testing processes.
- Manage and track defects using Rally, HP ALM, and Jira, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and design effective test strategies.
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure applications meet performance standards.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in testing.
- Mentor and guide junior testers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
- Provide regular updates to management on testing progress and any potential risks.
- Develop and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in testing tools and methodologies.
- Have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
- Show ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Must have Skills:
Strong background in Web App testing, Test Metrics and Reporting, and Testing Tools and Frameworks and Test Data Management
Proficiency in Rally, HP ALM, and Jira is essential.
Basic programming skills are also required.
Desired Skills:
Automation (Java, Selenium), knowledge will be plus

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $98,000 – $100,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
