What are the responsibilities and job description for the Disk Technician position at Coherent Corp. US?
We are seeking a Disk Technician to join our team! We are willing to train interested candidates.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform initial hone process of incoming disk pedestals, fingers and fences, and shields removing all surface contamination.
- Before the transferring of parts to the other processing areas, insure all hone beads are cleaned from the disk hardware.
- Perform final hone processing of all disk hardware prior to final disk assembly.
Education & Experience
- Minimum 1 year of work experience
- High school diploma or equivalent is a minimum requirement
Skills
- Strong interpersonal, teaming, and problem-solving skills.
- Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
Safety Requirements
All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards.
