Responsibilities
- Participate with business management to establish site strategic plans and business goals to become an IT business advocate
- Support and manage IT services with other US IT team members
- Develop business relationships and actively work with the IT team to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts
- Work with local department managers and IT staff to analyze and resolve problems associated with technical issues, and recommend solutions for changing needs.
- Champion and implement global IT standards and participate in the feedback process for continuous improvement
- Manage local and regional IT vendor relationships to ensure optimal service delivery
- Support site local via helpdesk ticketing system and understand when to escalate priority issues, provide proactive training on IT services
- Provide operations support including backup, account management, workflow, log analysis, enterprise application support, troubleshooting and service optimization
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize service requests with minimal supervision, excellent organizational skills, a teamwork approach and the ability to act independently to solve problems
- Engage with management; effectively present business solutions; determine the best way to get things done and responding to their needs in business terms; develop approaches likely to be seen as appropriate and positive
- Ability to follow standard helpdesk procedures and quickly redirect problems to appropriate resources
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Candidate must have basic ability to manage projects and understanding of project methodology
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills, resiliency in the face of continual change, and ability to handle high demands
- Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting Information Technology operations
- Administration experience with Windows OS at the user, server, and network level.
- Understanding of Windows Active Directory Services to include move, add, and change requests
- Experience administering small-size corporate server rooms and coordinating with facilities groups.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and after hours work. Must be periodically on call for after-hours support
- This includes but not limited to desktop/laptop break/fix, re-imaging, troubleshooting, desk & mobile phone support and Audio/Visual & physical conference room support technologies
- This is an internal end user employee facing role where your skills at maintaining and developing relationships with internal users and executive staff is crucial
- Plan, design, implement, and support hardware and software installation projects
- Laptop/Desktop Break-Fix, Remote Desktop Support
- Work with IT Infrastructure teams to setup and maintain existing infrastructure environments and assist with local changes
- Re-imaging with data transfers a requirement
- May require lifting of boxes and compute HW in addition to installation under desks
- Demonstrated proficiency and professionalism when interfacing with customer employees, executives, and VIPs when providing Desktop Support
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well with other people in a team-oriented environment
- Availability to occasionally travel to other regional locations
Education & Experience
- 4 years related work experience.
- Associate degree or Technical program a plus
- ITIL/PMI professional is a big plus

- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
