As the Strategic Account Manager, you will act as the point of contact between our company and our clients to help solve problems and achieve business goals.
More specifically, you’ll get to:
- Serve as the lead point of contact for strategic clients with a focus on relationship building and revenue growth
- Contribute to client annual recurring revenue (ARR) goals for assigned client(s) by finding new use cases and generating new business via demonstrating the value of Coherent products across business units
- Solicit and guide new sales opportunities through established client vendor and procurement processes
- Follow up on new sales leads and opportunities within assigned client(s) generated through conferences, webinars, and marketing campaigns
- Collaborate across internal teams to ensure success with the client
- Oversee delivery of key tactical requirements to ensure Coherent software is utilized as broadly as possible within a key strategic account
- Attend client meetings on site as required (Boston, Indianapolis, NYC, Des Moines, other locations), anticipate up to 10% of total time
- Other duties as assigned by manager
What skills and attributes the candidate will need to get the job done…
- Minimum 3- 5 years of account management/sales experience in Property, Casualty, Health, Life & Annuity, Specialty or similar
- Strong time management, problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and prioritize key clients
- Ability to manage multiple projects and partners at one time
- Must have proven success at identifying opportunities, securing organic client growth, and closing new business
- Experience navigating complex deals and developing valued relationships with clients
- Previous SaaS experience
- Outstanding organizational, communication and presentation skills
