Main Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all federal, state, local and company safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.
- Provide oversight to ensure all necessary labor, materials, and equipment arrive at each job site in a timely manner.
- Receive and maintain communications with crews regarding job status, problems, customer satisfaction, payment, etc.
- Assign drivers to trucks and provide accurate directions to pickup and delivery facilities.
- Maintain the control board for accuracy.
- Assists customers in materials purchasing.
- Track daily activities of trucks and generates operational report
- Perform all other duties deemed necessary or assigned.
Mission
Coordinate and schedule of drivers, trucks, and freight between various locations.
Education
- High school diploma required.
Skills
- Minimum 3 years’ experience.
- Must be able to work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Must have general knowledge of highway systems in the region.
- Knowledge of GPS technology and Microsoft Office.
- Familiar with truck and highway construction activities.
