Mission

Reeves Construction Company is looking to add multiple SKILLED and UNSKILLED Crew Members to the paving and grading crews out of Duncan, SC location.

We perform all phases of infrastructure and transportation work, from road and bridge construction, clearing, grading, draining, and asphalt paving for local, state, and federal entities.

• All work is in the Upstate area.
• Provides steady work with steady pay.
• No overnight travel required.
• Must take pride in doing quality work.
• Must have a positive attitude and willingness to work as a team player.
• Must be on time, daily.
• Must be able to work weekends if needed.
• Must have reliable transportation to / from work.

Asphalt Paving positions include :

• Asphalt Paver Operator
• Asphalt Paver Screed Operator
• Asphalt Rubber Tired Roller Operator
• Asphalt Steel Wheel Roller Operator
• Asphalt Distributor Truck Driver ( Tack Truck Driver); CDL A or B with Tanker required
• Service Truck Driver; Non-CDL position (Med Card required)
• Power Broom Operator
• Shuttle Buggy Operator
• Skid Steer Operator
• Asphalt Lute Person
• Asphalt Laborer
• Traffic Control / Flagger

Grading positions include :

• Skilled Laborer
• Heavy Equipment Operator

Qualifications

• Previous experience (preferred).
• Driving License (preferred); must have reliable transportation to and from the job sites.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Must demonstrate excellent safety awareness, and a willingness to comply with company policies and safety standards.
• Periodic evenings, nights, weekends, and overtime hours are expected.
• Must wear proper attire at all times including : safety vests, safety glasses, long pants, above the ankle / safety-toed shoes.
• Must be able to provide proper documentation that you have the legal right to work in the United States.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two- step instructions.
• Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Employees must have 20 / 40 vision, either naturally or with corrective lenses. Hearing should be excellent or corrected by audio device.
