Store Manager ( Full Time )
Cold Stone Creamery, a franchise premium ice cream store, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Store Manager for our Webster, NY location. This store is co-branded with a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, offering a unique blend of premium ice cream creations, cakes, sandwiches, cupcakes, chocolates, caramel apples, dipped strawberries, and many other desserts and treats.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and providing a positive experience.
- Crew Management: Supervise, train, and support crew members, ensuring high performance and job satisfaction.
- Food Production: Oversee the production of ice cream, caramel apples, and other treats, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Scheduling & Shift Assignments: Create and manage employee schedules, ensuring adequate staffing for all shifts.
- Banking & Inventory: Handle banking duties, including deposits and cash handling. Manage inventory to ensure stock levels are maintained and order supplies as needed.
- Operational Duties: Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with franchise standards. Implement and monitor company policies and procedures.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to employees.
- Financial Management: Monitor and analyze financial reports, manage budgets, and work towards achieving sales targets and profitability.
Requirements:
- Previous management or supervisory experience in a retail or food service environment is required.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with basic computer software (Microsoft Office) and the ability to learn new systems.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business management or a related field is a plus.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with composure.
- Experience with financial management and budget oversight.
