Warehouse Regional Manager
The Regional Manager is responsible for managing warehouse operational processes at multiple locations as well as ensuring product distribution to cross-dock locations.
This includes managing the relationship with Customer Fulfillment, Field Sales, Manufacturing, International, Logistics Planning, Vendors, Transportation, Quality, Regulatory, and 3rd party warehouse providers at each location.
The position also includes monitoring and maintaining domestic and international regulatory compliance.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
- Communicates with 3PL supervisors and management on all aspects of day-to-day operations and expectations.
- Responsible for attainment of planned operational budgets for each warehouse and cross-dock location in assigned region.
Monitors and troubleshoots KPI attainment issues in area of responsibility.
- Manages relationships with Third Party Providers and sets expectations for daily activity of employees. Manages relationships with Property Management Companies Including lease terms and all facility related issues.
- Allocates and secures warehouse resources through 3PL contracts (on a temporary or permanent basis), ensures infrastructure meets the needs of the business and manages relationship with 3PL to ensure their services meets requirements set by Hill’s Customer Fulfillment, Quality, CDO, and Logistics Planning to achieve world class customer service.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, International, and Transportation to solve Supply Chain issues.
Maintains procedures and records kept by facility to achieve compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and internal audits. Ensures compliance with domestic and international regulatory requirements and communicates required information to all impacted parties.
Monitors electronic data submissions by each warehouse location to ensure compliance with the Bioterrorism Act of 2001.
- Maintains proper control procedures at each location to ensure the safety of company assets. This includes the responsibility for warehousing compliance to Colgate / Hill’s Global Quality Standards and procedures.
- Oversees warehouse technology for the region, to include EDI, WMS, and Vocollect voice recognition software and hardware, which includes developing improvements, implementing required processes changes, testing of new systems / upgrades addressing Hill’s specific needs, identifying root causes of issues and liaison with IT for resolution.
This includes being available as needed to respond to 3PL warehouse locations for SAP and other system related issues during all service hours.
- Identifies and implements Hill’s / Colgate Warehousing Best Practices across warehousing network. Works with Hill’s plants and 3PL providers to implement processes to reduce Total Supply Chain Damage.
- Implements and executes continuous improvement projects in order to achieve operational cost reduction opportunities for Hill’s and 3rd Party Providers
Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree

Minimum of 7 years professional experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, and / or Finance
Proficiency in technical tools / software, such as SAP, TM9, WMS, Google Tools and Microsoft Office programs
Expected Areas of Skills :
Strong interpersonal and communication skill
Highly motivated with strong analytical / problem solving
Strong Business and Process Management skills
Experience in Supervising and / or Developing others is required
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $102,400.00 - $144,000.00 USD
Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office / market location.
In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and / or Stock Options.
Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes :

- Paid Sick Leave : Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year
- Paid Parental Leave : Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
