Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5-12 years of industry experience; or Master’s degree with 8 years’ industry experience; or PhD with 3-5 years of industry experience.
Degrees in Electrical engineering, computer science, etc.
Proven successful hands-on experience in system design of complex system, control of complex systems and embedded systems
Proven successful hands-on experience in the design, development and realization of analog and digital electronic circuits, from schematic to final released PCBA
Outstanding analysis and trouble-shooting skills; experience with FMEA and troubleshooting techniques and terminology
Working experience in electrical circuit design and development CAD software (OrCAD or similar), SPICE modeling, System modeling (e.g. SIMULink or similar)
Knowledgeable in CAD tools for circuit design and simulation (e.g., PCAD, ORCAD, ZUKEN, AutoCAD, Spice, ADS, HFSS)
Working knowledge of industry standards: SEMI, NFPA79, NEC, UL, EN, IEC, ETG, etc.

Semiconductor capital equipment or related industrial equipment industry experience.
Experience with High Voltage or RF PCB design.
Experience with RF Simulation Suites (Maxwell, HFSS), Signal Integrity tools and analysis.
Appreciates learning and understanding challenges and limitations within other disciplines on system designs.
Willingness to travel to international locations

Familiar with design for serviceability, manufacturability, reliability.
Highly proficient at troubleshooting systems with tools like network sniffers, protocol analyzers, and tool logs.
Experience in troubleshooting with problem-solving techniques such as 5-why, 8D, fishbones, etc.
Experience in semiconductor industry or related (industrial, automotive, military).
Embedded systems utilizing microcontrollers, FPGA's, and mixed-signal analog and digital electronics.
Day to Day:
Designs, develops, and modifies complex to highly-complex mixed-signal PCB and electrical/electro-mechanical systems.
Works with multidisciplinary engineering design (Firmware, FPGA, Mechanical, Electrical) team to spec, design and modify custom and OEM system components.
Contributes to research and development efforts for future products and technology by collecting and analyzing data to improve electrical system designs.
Perform hands-on test and validation utilizing lab equipment to characterization of the performance of the electrical/ electro-mechanical systems.
Prepare high-quality reports and technical presentations to clearly communicate design intent, analysis, and results to diverse audiences in design reviews, departmental reviews, and executive reviews.
Acts as a Subject Matter Expert for the team, as well as a resource and mentor for more junior colleagues.
Leads cross-functional design teams and presents various stages of design reviews including conceptualization, design details, and test and validation data.
Proposes, leads, and managers inter-department initiatives and makes contributions towards department business processes.
