Job Description
Location - San Diego, Ca (Every Bi Weekly needs to be onsite)
Salary Range - $150 K - $175K
Duration - Fulltime

- Need a high level individual to optimize the efficient use of their current CMS system.
Mission:
- To help improve their internal content management system and help make more efficient use of the content in the context of searching for products and making search results more accurate for customers.
Day to Day:
- Independently research and develop complex products as a senior level, individual contributor, often requiring development of new or improved products/processes/ techniques.
- Act as primary architect in developing requirements and partitioning those requirements to the major subsystem level.
- Prepare and conduct technical presentations and written design documents to communicate new ideas to the design teams.
- May act as an individual contributor on some projects.
- Active in schedule and cost estimate preparation at the program level. Work well with disciplines outside major field of emphasis to develop complex projects on time and within budget.
- Provide technical counsel and assistance to less experienced employees. Individuals in this capacity are recognized as experts within their major filed of emphasis and have broad experience outside their major field of emphasis.
Must Haves:
- 3-5 years of hands on Marklogic exp – writing code, and doing design work and working with large sets of data
- Exp with datahub, xslt, sparql, xquery – these are buzzwords around Marklogic
- Should have good experience with data ingestion, Search APIs using REST based services and data enrichment in MarkLogic.
- Exp with other NoSQL databases like Hadoop
- 10 years total experience as a database developer/industry.
