Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Regulatory Administrative Specialist with a strong background in food science or nutrition to assist with the regulatory processes, documentation, and quality systems related to food and nutrition. This role is heavily administrative and requires someone adept at reading, understanding, and closing out regulatory documents, collaborating with quality experts, and assisting with technical write-ups. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who understands global regulations and food policies and wants to contribute to regulatory compliance and quality assurance in the food and nutrition industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and analyze regulatory documents related to food nutrition and manufacturing.
- Review and close out regulatory changes by ensuring all requirements are met.
- Collaborate with quality experts to address risks and document the impact of regulatory changes.
- Receive and manage publications related to food regulation and compliance.
- Work within quality systems to assist with document management and updates.
- Assist with writing reports, technical documents, and regulatory submissions.
- Support the regulatory team in maintaining compliance with global regulations, including those in Latin America, Europe, and Asia.
Required Skills:
- Strong technical writing skills with the ability to draft and review regulatory documents.
- Knowledge of global food regulations, including those specific to Latin America, Europe, and Asia.
- Understanding of food nutrition and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with food policy and regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) experience is a plus.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a Science-related field is required.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related discipline.
- Open to recent graduates with a background in Food Science or Nutrition.
