We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Labeling Project Manager to lead our labeling project management efforts. This role involves strategic and tactical planning for label changes, ensuring the Global Label Management (GLM) organization meets its performance objectives. The ideal candidate will lead packaging and artwork strategy and shared label strategy across the product lifecycle, driving cross-functional teams to achieve optimal labeling outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning and Forecasting: Lead global product leadership for strategic planning and forecasting of label change projects.
- Accuracy and Compliance: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the Brief phase within the Artwork Management System, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Project Management: Manage Production, Design, and Asset workflows within the system. Lead label change projects and associated deliverables for launches, site transfers, country/area-specific changes, and other labeling-focused projects.
- Review and Metrics: Lead periodic formal review processes for label change management, develop and report performance metrics within label change execution.
- Packaging and Artwork Strategy: Take ownership and leadership in Packaging and Artwork Strategy. Develop and maintain shared label strategy over the product life cycle.
- Change Plan Ownership: Own the change plan for labeling operations. Act as business process owner for specific labeling business processes and assume the role of documentation subject matter expert.
- Early Development Labeling: Represent GLM in early development labeling work, functioning as the lead for labeling launch activities.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in Operations, Regulatory, or Quality environment, with a preference for pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Project Management/Leadership: Proven experience in project management/leadership in any industry.
- Labeling Operations: Experience in labeling operations or creation of labels.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills with all levels of management and personnel.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated success in negotiating and problem-solving skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively across different cultures and multiple functional areas in complex matrix environments.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of Regulatory, Quality, and Supply Chain aspects of labeling and the impact of non-compliance. Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting Pharmaceutical, Device, and Device/Combo Products, specifically those affecting the Packaging and Labeling Quality System.
- Leadership: Excellent leadership skills with a proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.

- Multilingual Proficiency: Proficiency in English (both written and oral) is essential; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Cultural Competence: Experience working effectively across different cultures and in complex matrix environments.
