What are the responsibilities and job description for the Distinguished Engineer/Chief Technical Strategist position at Collaborative Robotics?
Collaborative Robotics is a team of innovators and builders redefining the future of human-robot interaction. We are working to realize a world where robots are a trusted extension of your surroundings. They work, adapt, and react around you. Not the other way around.
About the role:
In this role, you will play a key leadership role bridging customer opportunities and expectations back into our technical R&D work. You will be working directly with customers in assessing ROI, process changes, new systems and identifying potential integration challenges. Think of this role as a solutions/systems architect helping assess robotic opportunities, while also to help lay the groundwork for a successful pilot.
In addition, this role would involve partnering with Business Development to identify potential pilot partnerships and helping define KPIs and necessary changes to support a successful pilot.
In this role, you will also play the technical bridge and solutions architect, helping to bridge the customer's expectations to the R&D team developing our robots. You'll play a key role in helping shape and steer the future of our robotic roadmap based on what we're seeing in the field.
More broadly, you may also be asked to support relationship-building at trade-shows, participation in relevant industry working groups and standards bodies, or helping with technical evaluation of supply chain partners.
Join us to reimagine the future of human-robot interaction.
We're hiring virtually, in addition to our San Francisco Bay Area, California office onsite.
