What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Manager position at Collective/Great States?

We’re searching for a highly qualified project manager to help us maintain our growth. The ideal candidate will have production experience and strong skills in developing and overseeing work plans. This position will perform project management duties for multi-family construction, project management duties, new builds, and tenant improvement projects.
As a project manager you will:
- Be well versed in all scopes, systems, and assemblies
- Assist in the management of all subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure material is delivered as scheduled
- Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and change
- Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee all phases of the project(s) and ensure successful completion including planning, budgeting, and execution
- Monitor and ensure quality control
- Coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure it is within estimated timeline and budget
- Anticipate potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and disruptions
- Oversee weekly job site meetings with subcontractors and vendors
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction/Engineering
- 3 years experience or an equivalent level of experience in construction projects including leadership experience
- Experience interpreting and understanding construction plans and designs
- Knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office, Sage/Timberline and Raken preferred
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently or collectively as a part of a team
Physical Requirements:
- Position involves sitting standing, bending and lifting for extended periods of time
- Must be able to communicate effectively in a typical field environment with an above standard level of noise.
- Must be required to visit multiple construction job sites, which may expose the employee to outdoor weather conditions and extreme temperatures.
