We’re looking for a Director of Product Marketing. At Collectors, product marketing is the connection between our customers and the services we provide - in both directions. We seek to understand our customers so we can leverage insights to innovate on their behalf, and we also teach our customers about the solutions we create to further their collecting. In this role, you will work at the intersection of Marketing, Product Management, and Sales. You will leverage our understanding of the customer to influence the product development roadmap with a focus on innovation. You will also be responsible for our go-to-market strategy - developing communication and digital activation plans that drive awareness and adoption for our new and existing products.
You’ll report to the Vice President of Product Marketing and work from our Santa Ana, CA or Seattle, WA office. Remote candidates will also be considered.
What You’ll Do:
- Hire and Develop: Build a team culture that attracts top talent and develops future leaders for Collectors.
- Collecting Experience: Develop a deep understanding of our customer to influence the product roadmap and deliver an experience that helps collectors pursue their passion.
- Brand Positioning: Document clear targeting and benefit statements of all products to ensure a unified vision across Marketing, Product Management, and Sales.
- Go-To-Market Strategy: Create and execute digital and physical plans across new and existing products that deliver awareness and adoption goals.
- Customer Funnel: Monitor, evaluate and advise on the marketing funnel from awareness to adoption and implement tactics to achieve growth targets for awareness, submission, membership, and repeat purchase.
Who You Are:
- BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field; MBA preferred
- 10 years of experience in marketing management
- Customer obsessed - interested diving deep into customer behavior
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent understanding of the collectibles markets and knowledge of video games and the gaming industry.
- Highly creative with ability to execute fresh concepts
- Experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate collectors
- Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate with executive management
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
