HVAC Design Engineer

Overview

Bergmann, and affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design is currently looking for an HVAC Engineer to join us in the New England area. The optimal candidate will be comfortable visiting and supporting various client sites in the New England area. Responsibilities

• Perform load calculations and size equipment
• Design ductwork and piping systems
• Develop drawings including plans, schedules, and details
• Develop REVIT/CAD models to facilitate design work
• Provide engineering support of construction activities such as submittal reviews and site inspections
• Travel and field work to document existing conditions and to develop designs
• Suggest new ideas and processes, stay informed of developments in practice areas, view obstacles as opportunities

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5 years' experience in HVAC design. Prior experience creating/designing for commercial, retail, government, and education facilities is strongly preferred.
