Job Description
We have a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Facilities Manager to join our award-winning Real Estate Management Services team in our Christchurch office.
We are looking for a self driven professional to lead a portfolio of commercial & retail properties and maintain best-practice process to ensure consistency and ongoing growth.
The value you'll add
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders; collaborating effectively and providing service excellence
- Drive the delivery of best practice Facilities Management services across the portfolio
- Set and review the strategic direction of programmes and standards, including maintenance
- Operational management of service providers, driving quality of service
- Understand, implement and report on strong ESG initiatives across the portfolio
- Ensure compliance requirements are strictly adhered to
- Manage building performance in a cost-effective manner in accordance with best practice and individual owners’ wishes
- Provide mentorship to junior team members
- Prepare and contribute to client reporting and budgeting
Qualifications
- 5 years’ of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of legislative requirements, and the ability to communicate and apply to technical matters across the team
- Experience in environmental and sustainability reporting including GRESB, NABERSNZ and/or other environmental rating frameworks
- High competence in Microsoft Office package (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
