Who you are
As a real estate sales professional, you will collaborate on the daily operation of the team’s business, expanding your knowledge in all aspects of commercial leasing, marketing, and sales – not to mention a unique combination of financial and research skills. The individual will be in this role for a period of two years and then transition to a junior broker on the team. Ultimately, you bring a passion for real estate, strong intellectual capabilities, and demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
What you bring
- 1 years of relevant sales experience (both via phone and in-person canvassing), quality internship experience is considered.
- Licensed Real Estate practitioner in the District of Columbia (or in process of obtaining). The role will require candidate to be licensed 6 months from start date.
- Highly motivated, bringing a high level of energy and initiative to everything you do.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal quantitative, writing and communication skills.
- Well organized and with excellent time management skills.
- Desire to advance in the commercial real estate industry.
- Prior experience using CRM programs.
- Microsoft applications experience (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Bonus skills and experience
- Prior knowledge of commercial real estate.
- Familiarity with commercial leases and terms.
What success looks like
- Providing general administrative support for the team.
- Creating a variety of presentation materials and act as point of contact for all marketing related materials.
- Heavy involvement with cold calling and prospecting for new business and following up on leads and opportunities to assist in deals.
- Maintaining company databases to track prospects and business opportunities.
- Coordination of supporting materials for offer packages and review proposals, leases, and related documents.
- Preparation and distribution of presentations, reports, proposals, spreadsheets, correspondence, and other documents.
- Having a great attitude in learning the business and local marketplace by attending local business and industry events, networking, and participating in client meetings.
- Training to learn the “Colliers Way” of doing business.
