Overview
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Receptionist to join our Woodcliff Lake, NJ office. This Receptionist will greet and assist all visitors who present themselves at the firm’s main entrance and handle most day-to-day in-office duties.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and clients in a professional and welcoming manner. Contact the person a visitor wishes to see.
- Go to mail-room daily and sort all incoming mail.
- Receive all incoming packages and assist with interoffice mail distribution.
- Scan, log, and route incoming checks and invoices to appropriate Accounting contacts.
- Prepare letters, memos, correspondence, and transmittals as needed.
- Prepare outgoing shipments as needed.
- Manage all hand deliveries or in-person pickups.
- Remain knowledgeable on company information including, but not limited to, service lines and geographic locations.
- Welcome new hires and assist with on-boarding, including office entry keys.
- Order, receive and maintain all office supplies.
- Assist with office social events and update social calendar.
- Perform tasks to support various discipline groups within the office, as needed.
- Perform any scanning and filing duties.
- Assist with conference room reservations and Teams meeting. Proficiency in room technologies.
- Ensure the operation of equipment by troubleshooting malfunctions and calling for repairs.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- 1-2 years of office / customer service.
- Microsoft Office Suite : Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to problem-solve.
