Job Purpose
The Safety Administrator provides administrative and clerical support to the Safety Director and the Safety Department. The Safety Administrator is responsible for all transactional input, reporting and systems related support for employees and the Safety/Risk Management function.
What You'll Do
• Maintain safety database in Spectrum
•Create new job safety packets upon notification from Contracts Administrator or Branch of new job.
•Create Safety Certificates.
•Track all safety meetings, PTP, and other documentation from field.
•Manage safety inventory and supplies by checking stock to determine inventory level
•Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, forms and documents
• Maintain filing and record-keeping systems
• Assist whenever possible with requests and/or information. Attempt to answer safety related questions or concerns in a timely manner and escalate complex issues to Safety Director
• Research, compose, design or edit safety publications such as brochures, flyers, forms and manuals or presentations.
• Assist Safety Director in preparing and distributing safety/risk management correspondences, reports, studies, forms and documents.
• Create and maintain spreadsheets for tracking processes for safety programs, trainings, etc.
• Assist Safety Director with development of new programs and updates of existing programs.
• Attend Safety related meetings and write and distribute minutes.
• Assist with the coordination of safety events (i.e. safety luncheons, safety trainings, safety committee meetings).
•Other administrative tasks as directed by the Safety Director, Field Safety Coordinators, HR Manager or Executive member of CECI.
