Summary / Responsibilities – Account Representative
Responsible for the management of existing clients to determine their needs, prepare quotes, process orders received and research & resolve client questions. Works directly with our clients to efficiently and professionally identify our clients’ needs, sell our products, and provide excellent customer service before, during and after the sales process.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
▪ Responsible for internet sales, including closing incoming leads, developing sales orders, and proactively responding to questions and sales inquiries.
▪ Responsible for closing telephone, email and walk-in sales orders, order information from outside sales or sales manager referrals through existing client’s contacts, face-to-face selling and participating in marketing/sales events.
▪ Maintain and develop existing client relationships and make contact with prospective clients to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
▪ Create estimates, work orders, identify design and material requirements, emphasize schedule requirements and determine cost of order and appropriate sales price.
▪ Prepare quotes by identifying materials, acquiring the final design, determining labor, interfacing with operations, determining schedule and setting final sales price.
▪ Input information/data into relevant information systems with minimal mistakes or omissions.
▪ Provide stellar customer service with Clients from beginning to end of each job, by answering Clients' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms, ensuring Client’s product(s) and service(s) are delivered on schedule, and consulting with Clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
▪ Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales reports, forecasting reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports with accounting.
▪ Recommend products to Clients, based on Clients' needs and interests. Learn to identify up-sell opportunities and execute them when appropriate.
▪ Consult with other departments to gather relevant information pertaining to the quoting/estimate and work order flow/scheduling process.
▪ Assist other sales personnel when possible and needed.
▪ Other duties that are assigned by Director of Sales.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
