What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitorial Supervisor position at Colorado Building Maintenance?
Colorado Building Maintenance is a full-service janitorial company serving Colorado Springs, Pueblo & Denver. We are presently looking for a dependable and skilled person to join our team as a Janitorial Supervisor.
This position would entail working alongside our General Manager to oversee all operations of our company. You will basically be an assistant to the General Manager, helping support her in any needs she may have. Duties will include the following:
- Helping repair and maintain equipment small equipment (primarily vacuum cleaners) as needed.
- Ordering and delivering equipment and supplies to our accounts as needed.
- Helping supervise and oversee our day porters, and filling in when a porter is out sick or unavailable to work.
- Helping hire and train day porters and custodians when needed.
- Spot inspecting accounts as directed by General Manager.
- Be available to help train or fill in for evening custodians when people are out sick or buildings are in transition.
- Provide support for our General Manager and Administrative Manager when and where needed.
Hours are primarily daytime, Mon. - Friday, though some evening work may be involved. Must be available to work weekends when needed.
The person we hire must be highly flexible and ready to work when needed. Pay is negotiable, depending on experience and flexibility.
Must be able to start immediately.
