Job Summary:
LUMINOSITY SUPPLY & SOLUTIONS is looking for a motivated, hard-working Sales Account Manager to join our growing team! Luminosity Supply is a commercial lighting and controls distributor. We have been in business for 28 years and have successfully grown each year. You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with current and future customers by implementing a strategic sales plan that provides value and solutions to our customers.
As a Sales Account Manager, you should work to satisfy customers’ needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner, and aspire to deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will be responsible for actively quoting projects, providing estimates, and closing sales. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented. Ultimately, you should be able to grow our commercial lighting business by building successful, long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers to generate new business for the organization's services.
- Makes phone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
- Manages a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success and increase sales.
- Develops positive relationships with clients.
- Acts as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs.
- Generates new business using existing and potential customer networks.
- Provides lighting and control solutions to customers in a timely manner.
- Implements strategic sales plan to ensure sales increase and company profitability.
- Manages to quote projects from start to finish.
- Follows up on outstanding quotes to secure orders.
- Reports on the status of accounts and transactions.
- Sets and tracks sales targets that are aligned with company objectives.
- Monitors sales metrics (weekly, quarterly sales results, and annual forecasts).
- Suggests actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
Requirements and skills:
- Proven work experience as a Sales Account Manager or Sales Representative.
- Must have knowledge of commercial lighting or similar experience within construction material procurement, electrical, property maintenance, or the construction industry.
- Hands-on experience in sales and an ability to deliver an excellent customer experience.
- Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel is very important).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time.
- Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is needed.
