Concrete Finisher/Laborer

**Job Overview:** We are seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will play a critical role in the construction process, focusing on the final stages of concrete construction, ensuring the highest quality and attention to detail. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in construction, carpentry, and concrete finishing. **Responsibilities:** - Work on commercial construction sites, handling all aspects of concrete finishing, including smoothing, finishing, and polishing. - Operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts, skid-steer loaders, and telehandlers, to move materials and tools around the construction site. - Apply specialized techniques and materials to achieve the desired finish and appearance of the concrete surface. - Perform various tasks, including concrete patching, grinding, and cleaning. - Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, meeting safety and quality requirements. - Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters, masons, and construction supervisors. - Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. - Operate hand tools, such as trowels, floats, and edgers, to finish and detail concrete surfaces. - Work at heights and in confined spaces, as necessary. - Use caulking and sealants to seal joints and edges of concrete surfaces. - Trim and finish hardscape and carpentry elements, such as stairs, railings, and decking. - Use specialized equipment, such as power trowels and concrete polishers, to achieve the desired finish. **Qualifications:** - Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or in a related field. - Strong understanding of construction processes and materials. - Ability to operate heavy equipment and hand tools safely and effectively. - Familiarity with masonry and carpentry techniques. - Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations. - Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks for extended periods. - Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to high standards. - Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces. - Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
