What are we looking for?

Join our IT team as a Quality Assurance Analyst.  As QA Analyst you will perform testing activities related to projects ensuring all deliverables are released to specification. Creating and maintaining acceptance test/business scenarios for application systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports to align with the project/system requirements and within the framework of CIG testing standards as outlined in the CIG project methodology.
• Perform testing on software and applications to ensure integration into the systems meets all functional requirements, system compliance, and technical specifications, while validating that user expectations are met during testing.
• Review user requirement documents to ensure that requirements are clear and individually testable.
• Maintain regression test scripts when new functionality is added and performing regression testing.
• Ensure that testing activities allow applications to meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues.
• Collaborate with software/systems personnel in application testing, such as system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing methods.
• Analyze formal test results in order to discover and report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws.
• Assist in the development of change control processes, practices, and guidelines for new and existing technologies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of system testing best practices and methodologies
• Experience using an automated regression testing solutions
• 2 years of experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies and other
• 2 years of experience with software QA tools and processes
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Understand Agile/Scrum processes and methodologies

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Selenium framework
• Experience with JIRA.
• Supplemental insurance education/designations
• Previous P/C insurance industry experience
