About the Job
We have several openings for mental health Residential Associates or Personal Care Associates at our programs in Pendleton and Boardman, Oregon. These positions work as members of a direct care team serving adults with serious mental illness; support the development of life skills and therapeutic interventions; perform housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication administration; and keep accurate clinical documentation. If you have experience working as a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA), Direct Support Professional (DSP), Residential Assistant (RA), Residential Counselor, Skills Trainer, or Caregiving for a client experiencing severe mental illness, the Residential Associate or Personal Care Associate positions might be a good fit for you.
Work Schedule: Day, Swing, and Night shifts available, up to Full Time (TBD in application)
What You’ll Make
Starting at $19.00 per hour DOE/Credentials. An additional $2.50 per hour night shift differential will apply during the work hours of 10:00pm - 6:00am.
About the Program
New Roads Residential Treatment Home in Pendleton serves 5 young adults who have a primary diagnosis of serious and persistent mental illness. Columbia River Ranch Residential Treatment Facility is a mental health facility with 11 treatment beds and 1 long term crisis resolution bed. It is located on 5 acres of working farm land just outside of Boardman, Oregon.
ColumbiaCare Services is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program. QMHA employees are also eligible to apply for the Oregon Behavioral Health Loan Repayment Program.
What You’ll Need
Personal Care Associate
- Caregiving and/or mental health experience (personal or professional) is preferred.
- A dedication to the well-being of each client and helping them meet their Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
OR
Residential Associate
1 out of 3 Criteria below:
- Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science: Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Development, or related field;
- OR minimum three (3) years of verifiable behavioral health experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs in a supervised setting;
- OR equivalent combination of behavioral science education in addition to satisfactory supplemental behavioral health experience and training
Successful applicants MUST have a valid Oregon driver’s license, maintain a safe driving record, and the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check
