About the Job
We have a Full-Time opening for a Quality Assurance Clinical Specialist (QMHP) based at our Portland Service Center in Gresham, Oregon. The Quality Assurance Clinical Specialist supports companywide compliance with federal, state, and county regulations and laws. ColumbiaCare is looking for someone who will honor and value Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion through professional modeling and mentoring.
They will:
- Use established systems to monitor compliance with policies and procedure
- Perform reviews and the QMHP portion of internal audits, and analyze information
- Work with the Quality Assurance Director on issues that require attention prior to State site reviews, and supports the Quality Assurance Director in identification, implementation, and fidelity measurement of Evidence Based Practices companywide in order to meet state standards
- Attend site reviews, participate in reviewing Plans of Correction, and coach Administrators on completing them
- Assist in the implementation of the HIPAA program companywide
- Support and maintain the databases
- Prepare quality improvement project reports and performance measure reports
- Monitor and analyze Fraud, Waste, and Abuse reports
This position does require frequent travel to multiple ColumbiaCare Services programs.
Work Schedule: Full Time (40 hours per week), 8-hour Day shifts

Starting at $4,500 per month DOE/Credentials.
What You’ll Need

State of Oregon QMHP credentials:
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field;
- MUST meet OAR requirement for QMHP by having completed TWO (2) YEARS of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health treatment setting
- Experience with complex public human services systems, or healthcare quality improvement methods required
Successful applicants MUST also have a valid Oregon driver’s license, maintain a safe driving record, and the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.
