Answer telephone calls and electronic mail; screen and assist callers; forward telephone calls and electronic messages to appropriate personnel; take messages. Respond to inquiries from law enforcement agencies, the public, and others; provide appropriate information including case numbers, case status, and court dates and times. Greet visitors to the office and respond to questions or direct visitors to appropriate personnel or agency. Receive, review, research, process, and enter information in Odyssey and Tracker; including but not limited to court notices, warrants, orders, waivers, entries of appearance, discovery, and motions. File and distribute such information and documents. Prepare all files and paperwork for court dockets. Deliver and pick up mail, orders, and other documents or packages. Coordinate and communicate with the Clerk’s Office, Judge’s Offices, Sheriff’s Office, court reporters, interpreters, bailiffs, and others concerning any specific instructions from the Solicitor General or attorneys. Attend and assist in court, as needed. Prepare court-ordered records and documentation. Perform other related duties as assigned. Organize and file legal documents and other official paperwork. Maintain an expansive system of case files. Maintain a system of criminal records. Coordinate case processing with the State Court Clerk’s Office and Muscogee County Jail personnel. Maintain confidentiality of personal, confidential, or criminal history information. Schedule court dates. Prepare dockets. Perform other related duties as assigned.
