Your “Take Off” will be successful by doing the following with excellence: Assists attorneys on transactions and projects with Authority departments and business partners. Supports attorneys with overall contract administration and management by facilitating intake, review, tracking, and retention. Handles public records requests with direction from attorneys. Reviews and assists with all aspects of various real estate transactions. Coordinates with attorneys on risk management initiatives, insurance renewals and claims. Supports attorneys with e-discovery, redaction, litigation claims and case management. Assists the team in support of the daily operations for all legal, insurance, risk management and compliance matters including preparation of legal documents, contracts, and commercial agreements, filings, registrations, correspondence and communication with internal and external clients, calendar management and maintenance of files. Supports attorneys as needed in collaboration of projects with other C-Suite executives. Performs related work as required. Your “Landing” will be smooth if you meet the following requirements: Paralegal Certificate and minimum five (5) years of paralegal experience with in-house legal departments and/or law firms, or equivalent education and years of experience Bachelor’s degree preferred Notary Public designation (or willingness to obtain) Experience with Ohio public bodies/committees and working knowledge of Ohio public records and meetings is preferred Knowledge of local, state, and federal government practices and procedures - including public sector procurement, contract administration, public record requests, retention and reporting is preferred The Columbus Regional Airport Authority is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate in hiring or terms and conditions of employment because of an individual’s race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, veteran status, disability, and all other groups or classes protected by applicable federal, state or local laws.
