The Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships is a high-level executive responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships for Comcast Spectacor. This role is critical to driving growth, revenue, and expanding the company's reach through strategic alliances with other businesses. The successful candidate will be an experienced, polished sales executive who is expected to consistently source, pitch, negotiate and close partnerships deals.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute a corporate partnership strategy to achieve business goals and objectives.
- Establish and nurture relationships with potential corporate partners and maintain existing partnerships.
- Negotiate partnership agreements, contracts, and terms that benefit all parties involved.
- Identify opportunities to generate revenue through partnerships, such as joint ventures, sponsorships, and co-branding initiatives.
- Analyze market trends, competitor partnerships, and industry insights to make informed partnership decisions.
- Lead a team of professionals dedicated to corporate partnerships, including activation account managers and business development professionals
- Provide regular reports and updates to the company's senior leadership and stakeholders on partnership activities and outcomes.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with partnerships, including financial, reputational, or operational risks.
Qualifications
- 15 years of corporate partnerships sales experience in a Sports/Live Event environment.
- Excellent storyteller with strong presentation and negotiation abilities
- Cross-functional and collaborative team leader with a growth mindset
- Has established local relationships in the Philadelphia Market
- Experience in closing/overseeing naming rights deals
- Experience managing a team with multiple disciplines.
- Driven by targets and winning as a team.
- Extensive experience in contract negotiating for large value contracts including standard and non-standard Terms and Conditions.
- Experience selling corporate partnerships for mixed use facilities.
- Strong valuation skills
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communications, interpersonal skills, and planning, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and to travel as necessary.
EDUCATION LEVEL
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experiences.
