Job Summary

Responsible for preparing tax and other related compliance for the company and its affiliated entities. Possesses knowledge of Company tax and tax law. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience

Core Responsibilities

• Devises legal means to minimize tax liability using thorough knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Participates in the development of tax strategies.
• Conducts internal audits relating to tax matters.
• Assists in processing of all tax compliance.
• Assists in preparing and submitting standard tax returns, assisting in the preparation of more complex computations.
• Contributes to preparation and initial investigations into tax issues.
• Ensures that records, returns and related reports comply with all federal, state and local regulations.
• Prepares, maintains and submits tax records.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
