Territory Sales Manager

We are seeking a Territory Sales Manager for a Full-time opportunity in (Salem, OR)

** Must be US citizen or green card older available to work on our W2. No C2C or 1099 allowed for this client. **

Location: This position will require travel around Salem, Bend, Corvallis (OR) and other surrounding areas.

Industry: Pet Products/ Manufacturing and Production.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a customer base of veterinary clinics and pet retail stores, building net sales, volume, market share
• Ensure excellent coverage and 6Ps execution (product, price, place, promotion, people, and presentation), to grow net sales and drive volume
• Promote and merchandise company products and services
• Implement programs where applicable
• Educate customers through detailing and in-clinic seminars on the outstanding economic and nutritional value of the company's products
• Contribute to pets' well-being by driving endorsement of our products
• Develop creative customer specific strategies and joint plans to get results, based on customer analysis
• Leverage the company's commercial and professional programs to drive product experience, awareness of outstanding formulation and taste
• Rollout new product launches and educating new products to clinic staff leading to increase in-store presence and market leadership for all products
• Stays in sync with all policies and standards

Ideal candidate will be proficient in:

• Bachelor's Degree
• DL Number - Valid in-state driver's license
• Must have at least 2 years of sales experience
• Excellent communication, relationship building, and presentation skills, highly competitive, tenacious, and self-motivated
• Effective negotiating skills
• Excellent time management, planning and budgeting experience
• Ambition to grow and build a territory and a passion for pets
• At least 2 years of sales experience
• At least 2 years of Vet Hospital/pet product/animal health sales experience (Preferred)
• Certified Veterinary Technician-NAVTA (preferred)
