What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psych RN position at Comcentric?
We are currently seeking Psychiatric Registered Nurses (RN) for a travel position located Greenwood, IN.
Type: Behavioral health facility - treatment center for adolescent and adult patients.
Length: Approximately 13-week contract
Pay: Starting at $52.00 per hour (per-diem is available for traveling more than 50 miles round trip)
Hours:
- Day shift 7AM – 7PM
- Night 7:00PM – 7AM (ability to work nights preferred)
- With every other weekend required
Responsibilities:
- Prescribes, coordinates & delegates nursing care
- Administers and inventories medications and supplies and coordinates with pharmacy to meet patient needs.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience working in a behavioral health/psychiatric setting
- Must have Knowledge of psychiatric and medical nursing procedures
- Compact RN license is acceptable
- BLS certification
- Handle with care required (will train during orientation)
