We are looking for a Pricing Analyst to support our business unit located at our Denver, Colorado branch located at 5757 E. 42nd Avenue, Denver, CO, 80216. As a Pricing Analyst you will be responsible for maintaining pricing related to product and services, such as customer pricing and vendor costing. This role handles rebates, vendor item cost updates, item updates, new item setup, model changes, creation and maintenance of customer contracts, including consignment, and price libraries.

What will you be doing? We’ll keep you busy and teach you how to:
- Strategically align pricing structure to market conditions.
- Communicate cost increases, model changes, and other factors affecting sales margins to sales departments and corporate personnel
- Understand the impact of pricing on profit margins and implement changes to maintain acceptable margins.
- Report profit maximizing suggestions to leadership.
- Prepare situation tools for commercial consideration and strategy development.
- Analyze financial impact of price approach in view of overall history as well as profitability for selected customers.
- Ensure accurate cost and price uploads daily.
- Work with Branch Operations to create and maintain customer pricing libraries and contracts.
- Create and maintain vendor price libraries.
- Prepare approved pricing in customer preferred format.
- Report profit maximizing suggestions to management
- Prepare situation tools for commercial consideration and strategy development.
- Analyze financial impact of price approach in view of overall history as well as profitability for selected customers.
- Ensure accurate cost and price uploads daily.
- Work with Branch Operations to create and maintain customer pricing libraries and contracts.
- Create and maintain vendor price libraries.
- Prepare approved pricing in customer preferred form
- Accurately track and submit weekly vendor rebates
- Maintain item attributes including, but not limited to, item classifications in company systems.
- Update vendor pricing related to stock and non-stock product.
- Maintain pricing history in the database.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or its GED equivalent, Bachelor’s degree or 4 years equivalent work experience preferred.
- 2-5 years’ data management experience.
- Knowledge of MS Office applications as needed to satisfactorily perform work assignments – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint as well as ability to learn company enterprise systems– Prophet 21, etc.
- Excel advanced applications.
- Use computers, photocopiers, fax machines, scanners, and phone systems relative to the needs of the job.
- Aptitude for mathematical operations and numerical analysis.
- Must be organized, able to prioritize, set and keep deadlines, change direction quickly, and adapt to various work environments easily.
- Must be able to work independently and at times discreetly, use sound judgment, and make thoughtful decisions in a timely manner.
- Must be able to work effectively in collaborative group settings.
- Must be able to communicate well interpersonally, written, and in group settings
